32. Circles of support, brought to you by tech

As mentioned earlier, one of the most exciting opportunities SXSW provides is the chance to talk to the entrepreneurs, creatives, and thinkers behind the good ideas they're pitching in competition. Read more about it here.

If you're interested in social impact, you would have been interested to meet the team from Supportiv,  Helena Plater-Zyberk and Pouria Mojabi.

Supportiv is a fascinating product that provides online support to people with issues, stress, worries, conflicts, or mental health problems. Their custom made AI puts you in groups with people who are suffering the same kind of things, moderated by a real life human. It's all anonymous, and you will receive genuine real life support from a real life human, as well as have the chance to help others - very important in balancing your own mental state. The platform also contains tons of useful advice and tips about dealing with the stresses of modern life. No wonder Supportiv was one of the big winners of the competition, walking away with a check for $5,000.

You can find out more about Supportiv here: https://www.supportiv.com/. The image with this post is from the amazing Flatstock exhibition of poster art that took place in the Austin Convention centre during the second half of SXSW.
